Within the Hawaiian island chain, lies a small island to the west of Oahu, named Kauai. On the west side of Kauai is the home of Waimea High School with their mascot, the menehune. The menehune are legendary for their small size, but hard work ethics. This is the philosophy Waimea High School shares. WHS has a population of 790 students.
